PRINTING AND PUBLISHING

Panel member André van der Westhuizen became involved in the publishing industry shortly after the new technology of desktop printing appeared and was involved in the first magazine in South Africa to be produced direct from computer to plate. While he was based in London, he was in chief designer of a luxury magazine in Germany and in glossy publications in the UK and France. Trading as West-Publishers in South Africa, he also published several books and produced the glossy SA publication CEO Magazine.
