LEICAFLEX SL CAMERA WITH LENSES FOR SALE

This Leicaflex SL with the following set of lenses are now offered privately for sale to serious collectors. The camera and lenses are from the golden era of photography of the sixties and seventies and are suitable for use with 35mm camera film or slides and are not digital cameras. They are offered as a complete set. Below is a description of the camera and lenses:

Aluminium case with waterproof seal, closed cell high density foam inner lining.

The camera and lenses are in perfect working order, with signs of normal use (minor marks or faint scratches). The lenses and reflex mirror are all clean and scratch-free and free of fungus growth or stains. The camera body has one small dent on one corner which does not affect the operation (see photo). The Telyt 400mm lens is an earlier pre-reflex component, which was later discontinued because of the intense labour involved in making and polishing lens glasses of that size. It has more sign of wear than the camera and other items but its lenses are pristine. The extension tube and adapters work perfectly with the camera. The Telyt is a true 400mm telephoto lens, not just one with extention tubes.

This camera was used by only one owner (the seller) since new and particular care was taken throughout its use to prevent, at all costs, from dust getting into the parts.

Prospective buyers are welcome to examine the camera set by prior appointment, in Pretoria, South Africa or alternatively it can be inspected by an independent third party expert.

The aluminuim case with closed cell foam packaging is suitable and safe for transport by courier, but due to the expense and lack of control involved, the item is not returnable after sale. All reasonable offers in the region of R24,000 - R28,000 (US$3,000 - US$3,500) will be considered.
