Raoul-Pic-WLRDr Raoul van der Westhuizen, Chairman
Raoul qualified as veterinarian in 1965 (University of Pretoria) and joined Bayer South Africa in 1968, becoming acting General Manager of the Veterinary Division in 1970. In 1971 he was appointed Executive Director of the SA Nature Foundation, the SA representative of the World Wildlife Fund. Working closely with the Foundation’s president, Dr Anton Rupert and the chairman, Dr JG van der Horst (chairman of Old Mutual), he raised more than a million rand (1970’s value) for nature conservation projects which included the establishment of some ten national parks and nature reserves.
Later he was appointed Director for Public Affairs of Rembrandt Tobacco and in 
1979 he was appointed world-wide Marketing Secretary of Rothmans International and special assistant to Dr Rupert, based in London. Returning to SA, he later established the Advisory Bureau for Development, a communications and marketing consultancy which advised and assisted major companies in business development in the public sector during the 1980s and which generated massive revenues for these companies. He also founded and published the executive leisure magazine STRAIGHT25 in 1990, aimed at readers in the top income groups, reaching a controlled distribution audience of 20,000 (ABC). JoachimZahn-Portrait1-WLRProf h.c. Dr Joachim Zahn, International Co-operation
President: JZ Consultoria Ltda in Sao Paolo, Brazil. He studied law in Germany and worked at high level in Germany, South Africa and Brazil. He speciality is Defence, the Aviation Industry and the field of Corporate Social Responsibility.
He has successfully concluded major international co-operation agreements between companies and between governments. These have resulted in substantial new economic developments and major emerging markets –especially affecting South-South relations, such as Brazil-South Africa. Andre-PIc-WLRAndré van der Westhuizen, Design & Publishing
André became involved in the publishing industry shortly after the new technology of desktop printing appeared and was involved in the first magazine in South Africa to be produced direct from computer to plate. While he was based in London, he was chief designer of "Das Boot", a luxury magazine in Germany, and of glossy publications in the UK (Boat International) and France.
Trading as West-Publishers in South Africa, he also published several books and produced the glossy SA magazine CEO. He has a magical knack for stunning layout and good design which, coupled with his sound knowledge of the printing processes, results in an impeccable product.

IanFitz-Pic-WLRIan Fitzpatrick, Printing and Packaging
Ian has a lifetime of experience of the printing and packaging industry. His intimate knowledge of the people in the industry and clear understanding of the technologies involved and of new innovations have enabled his clients to save very large amounts of money. He knows who to work with and who to avoid in the print and paper jungle!
Paper and printing takes place in an industrial factory environment, which Ian understands well and which enables him to be the ideal project manager and 24/7 print quality controller as go-between creative client and industrial printer. His integrity and his committment to his clients are without par.

JohnLIzamore-PIcA-WLRGeneral (rtd) John Lizamore, Strategic Planning 
John is a retired senior military officer with extensive experience as Senior Staff Officer - Strategy, who wrote and liaised military co-operation agreements with countries such as the USA, UK, Germany, Singapore, Malasia, Arabia and many African countries.
From his experience as the Director: Research, Training and Evaluation at the office of the Secretary of Defence, which oversees the creation and execution of policy and plans for the Department of Defence, he understands the pitfalls of strategic planning and, most importantly, how to communicate with and control all involved to ensure successful execution of the plans.

ClausKoch-PicWLRDr Klaus Koch, Epidemiological and Pharmaceutical Industry Projects 
Dr. Klaus M.A. Koch qualified as veterinarian in 1973 in Germany and specialised further in Microbiology. Practical work in this specific field was done as captain in the German army, as assistant professor at the University Hohenheim in co-operation with the Federal Institute for Virus Diseases in Tübingen and in the pharmaceutical industry over a period totalling more than 35 years.
It covered areas such as establishing a rapid diagnosis system of anaerobic bacteria, the development of diagnostic kits for retroviruses, the development and manufacturing of virus vaccines (e.g. FMD, BHV1 and CSF as marker vaccines), the testing, batch release and registration of vaccines worldwide, the marketing and technical services of such products and epidemiological monitoring. Several years of additional experience was gained in Parasitology and Entomology while working for German Technical Aid in West Africa in Tsetse-eradication programmes.
As Executive Director of Bayer Leverkusen In India, he succesfully established a new business unit for the development, manufacturing and distribution of Public Health Products, especially Malaria.
